New Years Eve: Looking back to 2008

Last year I actually did really well with my News Years resolutions. You can check here News Years Resolutions 2008 to check up on me and let me know what you think. For 2007 I can't say I met a one. So just like last year new years eve I want to take stock. I guess I could say that this past year I got all that I could ask for and then some. So while this blog is normally focused on the endless fight for justice, equality and some needed context, I never forget that in the end I am so blessed. As I said last year New Years Eve 2007 I have thanked Life before, but it never does it justice. Just when things seem impossibly bleak, the perfect breeze across the face, a blazing sun setting for your, or stars blinking across your consciousness there are so many reminders of life's wonderful beauty. Hashem despite my many inequities and constant wrong doing you constantly grace me with wonderful things in my life. Whether the places I have been or the people that have crossed my paths the people you put in it who love me, I am infinitely blessed, This year I hope to be better about living in your grandeur and be more thankful for all the gifts I have gotten.
