Change the Present

Last year I gave to Heifer and bought I think a sheep then divided it up amongst my friends. People were surprisingly REALLY into it and the gift through Heifer goes to help a community in need. I gave personally to Kiva because they do some great work in micro-financing. Which is a simple way to give a little and allow people to help themselves. Oceana gives you a stuffed animal with the Animal you save, so you can save an animal and use it as a teaching moment for the wildlife in need.
