The Kennedy Assassination and the Cuban Connection

The BBC and British TV have been trying to make a big deal about the Cuban connection to Lee Harvey Oswald. I was watching a British Channel 5 documentary on the Cuban influence in the assassination of JFK. Their assertion seems to be that Oswald met with Cuban officials in Mexico City. The whole show explored this question but it seems odd to make such a connection. What I learned from the documentary is that Oswald wanted to kill JFK and Fidel, tired of trying to be assassinated, wanted to kill JFK as well. So mutual interests met and they agreed to help Oswald but when he got caught, they dropped it. What's so stupid about this documentary is that it assumed Oswald was the only shooter. It completely ignores all the other questions that have cropped up. First off, they mention and dismiss an important part of the story. Oswald tried to assassinate General Edwin Walker who was sitting unmoving a few hundred feet away and missed. HE MISSED THIS EASY SHOT AND GOT THE PRESIDENT THAT DAY? Second, it assumes Oswald did it by himself which all evidence seems to indicate otherwise. (Some 70% of Americans believe this, according to an ABC News Poll in 2003). The highlight of the show is that Oswald met in Mexico City at the Cuban embassy, going in and out of it on several occasions. That is how conspicuous he was...in and out of the embassy and the CIA is definitely watching…and no one thought to follow him? An American, who lived in Russia? More likely people concerned with the assassination knew who Oswald was and when he was going to do it. The Mexico Conspiracy theory also doesn’t answer the question why Jack Ruby killed Oswald 2 days later. I have no idea what happened that day, Oswald pulled the trigger but as the 1979 investigation by the House Select Committee on Assassinations, concluded that Oswald assassinated President Kennedy "probably...as the result of a conspiracy." But it still leaves more questions than answers. What I do know is that I have more questions than answers. And this “new theory” on a Cuban connection to the murder is just silly. I hope they release the rest of the information from the Warren Commission and IF somebody in any of the governments (US, Russia, or Cuba) were involved to just come clean, it's certainly time.
