Barak Stood Up Against The War First

I think it’s important to remember why Obama was pushed by grassroots people to run for President. 5 Years Ago before the war, when DEMOCRATS WERE SCARED TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE WAR. One candidate for Senate had the spine to say what many of us knew to be true. The war was a huge mistake. Edwards at this time supported the war. Clinton voted for the war. Kerry voted for the war. Obama then running for those very offices said THIS IS RIDICULOUS. It was a monumentally brave speech considering all the “smart people” in Washington were saying how much a mistake it would be for Democrats to support this war that would be a glorious victory for dear leader. He had the judgment to stand up and say this must not happen and that is one of MANY reasons I support him. RSS Feed
